UWorld offers AICPA-licensed, regularly updated content aligned with the latest CPA exam blueprints, making it highly outcome-focused. While Becker is also a strong platform, its time-bound access may require additional renewal costs, whereas UWorld supports EduMont’s goal of helping students pass on their first attempt without interruptions.
What does a typical week of CPA prep look like at EduMont?
A standard prep week includes a live chalk-and-talk class with Rohan Sir (6-8 hours in an interactive whiteboard format), along with self-study on the UWorld LMS for MCQ practice and simulations, and access to recorded lectures for revision or catch-up.
You will also attend two one-hour OTB classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 10-11 PM, where you solve MCQs and TBSs with your batch and learn how actual CPAs approach them. Every two weeks, you will have a 1:1 game plan call with Rohan Sir to review your progress, adjust your study plan, and clear conceptual doubts.
For any exam scheduling or administrative queries, the operations team is available during support hours from 10 AM to 7 PM.
I'm a working professional. Can I realistically manage CPA prep alongside a full-time job?
The majority of EduMont's students are working professionals - CAs, finance managers, and Big 4/6 professionals preparing alongside jobs.
The programme is structured for approximately 15–20 focused hours per week, with recorded class access for catch-up when work gets heavy. The bi-weekly game plan call is specifically designed to re-sequence your exam order based on your current bandwidth - if you're in a busy period, Rohan Sir adjusts the plan rather than expecting you to keep pace. Students have cleared all four CPA papers in 12-18 months while being employed full-time.
What is the 360° operations support - what paperwork does EduMont actually handle for me?
EduMont’s operations team supports you through every step of the CPA journey, from credential evaluation (via WES/NASBA/FACS) and SBA (State Board of Accounting) application to NTS issuance, Prometric slot booking across India, and even your CPA licence application after the exam.
Since many first-time aspirants underestimate how complex and time-consuming these processes can be, having a dedicated team ensures a smooth, error-free experience while eliminating delays and unnecessary stress.
I already hold a CA qualification - do I still need coaching, or can I self-study for CPA?
Should I do CPA or CMA - how do I choose?
The decision comes down to career direction. US CPA is the right choice if you're targeting public accounting, audit, Big 4 advisory, or globally recognised financial reporting roles - it is the most widely respected accounting designation worldwide.
US CMA is the stronger option if you're building toward internal corporate finance, FP&A, controllership, or a CFO track inside a company. Is the CPA exam tough, and what’s the passing rate?
Typically, the US CPA exam can be challenging for students due to its less reliance on memory. However, 'challenging' does not mean impossible. If you prepare well and receive good instructions, it is very likely that you’ll pass.
The overall pass% for CPA remains steady between 45-55%, globally. However, using the Safety-net System, EduMont students have reached a 98.72% first-attempt pass rate. This shows how the right guidance, clear targets, and practice can make a first-time pass highly likely.

What is the US CPA Fees in India?
For an Indian student, the total cost of becoming a US CPA is split into: the official exam fees paid to NASBA and the coaching and study materials.
The official exam fees are paid to NASBA and the US State Board of Accounting, which add up to about $3,965. This includes:
- $250 for the evaluation fee
- $140 for the state board registration fee
- $900 per exam section Ă— 4 sections (each section consists of $390 exam fee + $510 international testing fee)

The coaching and study materials usually cost extra. Most Indian students spend between â‚ą4.5 to 6 lakhs in total. If you need to retake any exams, the cost will go up.
What is the US CPA eligibility criteria?
Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree and at least 120 credits, including 24 accounting credits, can sit for the US CPA examination.
Indian students with B.Com, B.Com (Hons), M.Com, or MBA degrees are eligible, often with help from bridge courses. Candidates with CA, CS, or ICWA qualifications usually qualify too.
